They are brought together thanks to the support of Sanne Group, the Jersey-based trust and fund management group, who have kindly sponsored this event to celebrate junior rugby and provide an opportunity to play at Welford Road for more than 100 young players.

The schedule for the weekend will allow all of the participating squads and coaches to watch Friday night's international match, which will provide extra inspiration and motivation for the following morning when they are in action in qualifying matches at Oval Park, the Tigers training ground. Further matches – a third-place play-off and the final – will be staged at Welford Road that afternoon when one team will take away the overall prize and Sanne Group International Challenge Trophy.

The four participating teams are enjoying successful seasons so far, so it should prove a worthy competition for players and spectators alike.
