It's that time of year again, time for the big clash between the city's two universities.
The Leicester Tigers community team are pleased to confirm that this year’s Varsity Matches between the men's and women's teams of De Montfort University and the University of Leicester will take place at Welford Road on the evening of Wednesday, March 5.

These two universities will battle it out for the status of Leicester’s best rugby-playing university. The women’s game kicks-off at 6.15pm, with the men’s at 7.45pm.

With some excellent rugby and cheerleaders from De Montfort University providing half-time entertainment it promises a great night of entertainment. The general exuberance of youth means that the nature of the evening is probably not suitable for children and those of a more gentle nature.

Tickets are available from the Tigers tickets office on 08701 28 34 30, priced £4 in advance and £6 on the night.
