Former Oakham School pupil, second rower Tom Croft, started playing rugby as an 11-year-old, after joining Newbury RFC. After representing his county at age-group level he was selected to captain the South of England U16 side against France. Tom has also represented England U18 schools. A member of Tigers' successful Zurich A League squad, Tom was named as the NIG Academy Player of the season for 2004/05.  He recently played at Twickenham for Leicester in the Middlesex Sevens.
