Now 36, I was born in Nottingham and educated there and in Scotland before graduating from the London School of Economics. I then qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London. After leaving their Corporate Recovery department I managed Mercedes-Benz of Poole, Salisbury and Dorchester until their sale in late 2007. I have also served on the main board of three listed companies and their committees.

I moved to Jersey permanently in January 2008 with my wife, Caroline, where I am involved in a number of Channel Island and UK businesses.
