After the construction of the 10,000-seater Caterpillar Stand in 2009 and continued success on the pitch over the last decade, Leicester Tigers are now showing their growth in the retail sector. In the summer of 2011 Tigers invested in a major renovation, doubling the size of their club store and giving it a major overhaul inside for the fans. The retail space has increased to 2,000 sq ft and boasts a contemporary look and feel. The spacious design of the outlet sees wooden floors and wood trim combined with large graphic images of player closer ups to create a striking visual effect. The clean, fresh design is complemented by state-of-the-art digital screens for a sophisticated feel.
The transformation is not just visual, customers will notice a greatly improved service on match days with an increase in tills and an in-store shirt printing service. This is combined with an upgraded ordering facility where fans can order in store and have their products delivered anywhere in the world.
Fans will also see a transformation of the online store www.leicestertigerstore.co.uk, which re-launched at the same time and offers improved ordering and delivery options, enabling supporters to purchase online and collect in store.
