The Land Rover Premiership Cup is the first tournament of its kind to be officiated by Premier Rugby and run in conjunction with all 12 Premiership clubs across the country. With the work of the community department Leicester Tigers hosted one of the 12 regional festivals and brought together teams at under-11 and under-12 age groups from the local community to battle through knock-out stages in order to claim a place in the final and their chance to win the Land Rover Premiership Cup and the opportunity to take part in the parade with all other regional finalists.
"As the Official Vehicle of Premier Rugby, Land Rover is committed to supporting both elite and junior levels of the sport. Through our unique grassroots initiative, The Land Rover Premiership Cup, and provision of our vehicles to all Premiership Clubs, we are delighted to be assisting in the development of rugby in the community throughout the country." Anthony Bradbury, Marketing Director of Land Rover.
Last season saw the start of The Land Rover Premiership Cup, the first tournament of its kind to be officiated by Premier Rugby and run in conjunction with all 12 Premiership clubs across the country. After the success of its inaugural year, in which over 7,000 aspiring young players took part in festivals all over the country, we are looking forward to seeing more young stars battling it out for a place in the finals this year.

Yes - some of the squad will come along to cheer on teams, give some tips, sign autographs and present the runners up and winners with their medals
The Under 11's and Under 12's tournaments are now full for 2009/10 season.
The first season has been a resounding success and delighted parents, players and coaches have enjoyed every aspect of the festivals.
Throughout the season, our iconic 4x4 vehicles play an essential role for the busy clubs transporting players, staff and kit around the country in comfort. The vehicles also enable community departments to take rugby on the road increasing the relationship between local teams, fans and the club itself.
"With all our community and grassroots work we are always on the road, and generally with vast amount of kit, so you can image how vital a car is to us. Without the vehicle that Land Rover give us, we wouldn't be able to do a great deal of the events and work we set out to do but, with our Discovery 4, we not only get on the road, we get across rugby fields too." Scott Clarke, Head of Community, Leicester Tigers.
