This year behind the scenes of the most combative and competitive league in professional sport the 12 clubs that make up the premier rugby are working closely together on a varied programme of engaging, educating and socially important programmes as part of Premier Rugby Ltd community.
Tigers Community team have joined forces with the other 11 clubs to work on 5 key delivery programmes across the region tackling Bullying, Health, Alcohol Abuse, and core elements of TAG Rugby and Contact Competitions. Anti-bullying Campaign working with NSPCC & Childline Tigers Community staff will be visiting Primary Schools throughout the Leicester taking on the bullies and using the ethos of rugby to give hope to many in need. For more details click here.

National Schools Rugby Programme taking tag rugby to hundreds of young aspiring rugby players across the country this season through the National Schools Rugby Programme

Something to Chew On is a new and progressive high profile health programme delivered by Leicester Tigers Guinness Premier Club working in partnership with the Food Standards Agency (FSA). The programme will be delivered to both boys and girls with an estimated 8,000 school children expected to be involved. Utilising rugby's unique ethos and the assets of the sport's leading brands and players it looks to:
- Improve young people's understanding of what constitutes healthy eating and a healthy diet,
- Increase young people's knowledge of food safety,
- Increase young people's uptake of physical activity,
- Provide sustainability through teacher training and provision of equipment.

Side Stepping Alcohol is an innovative new project developed by the 12 Premiership clubs in partnership with Drinkaware. The project will work to tackle the issues surrounding alcohol misuse and young people aged 13-19.

Land Rover Cup festivals hosted by all the 12 premiership clubs for under 11 & under 12 club side to meet, compete and enjoy rugby for rugby sake. This year we will be running the festival on 11th April 2010 at Oakham RFC and welcome all under 11 and under 12 teams to enter and take on the Land Rover Challenge.
