Not all eyes on Farrell

Figure image
Pacific Islands duo Seru Rabeni and Alesana Tuilagi hope to press their claims for a first-team recall with an outing for Leicester Tigers Development XV against Saracens this evening.

The friendly fixture has been arranged during the mid-season break in Guinness A League fixtures and while home supporters - and no doubt the national media - will be keeping an eye on Andy Farrell's likely participation in the Saracens line-up, Brett Deacon leads a Tigers side which also includes scrum-half Frank Murphy, hooker Gavin Hickie and flanker Luke Abraham, plus prop Dave Young who was on the bench for the first team at Northampton on Saturday. Prop Alex Moreno, who injured a calf muscle in the warm-up to the second Guinness Premiership match of the season, has been named among the replacements.

The match is a 7.30 kick-off at the home of Old Albanian Rugby Club in St Albans.
