Tigers name side for French excursion

Pat Howard has made 15 changes for Friday night's Heineken Cup trip to French-side Bourgoin. Tigers' head coach has named an entirely different starting line-up from the one that faced Northampton in the EDF Energy Cup last weekend.

Martin Corry, Lewis Moody, George Chuter and Andy Goode return from England duty, with Corry captaining the side from no.8.

Martin Castrogiovanni and Marcos Ayerza regain their places following their exploits with Italy and Argentina respectively, as they complete an all international front row.

Geordan Murphy is the seventh returning international to be named in the Tigers side. The Irishman takes his place on the right-wing, with Sam Vesty at full back and Tom Varndell at no.11.

Harry Ellis partners Goode at half-back, with Dan Hipkiss named alongside Daryl Gibson in the centre.

Leo Cullen and Louis Deacon get the nod in the second row, with a further two internationals named on the bench in Alex Moreno and new-Scottish cap James Hamilton.
