Tigers name team for Bristol

Pat Howard has shuffled his cards for Friday night's top-of-the-table clash with Bristol Rugby at Welford Road, kick-off 7.45pm. As Tigers enter a hectic period with three Guinness Premiership fixtures in 11 days, Howard has brought in 10 players who missed last weekend's Heineken Cup game against Bourgoin.

Marcos Ayerza returns from Argentina, where he has been sitting exams; fellow prop Julian White has recovered from the exertions of the autumn internationals and Ian Humphreys claims the No.10 shirt after his recovery from a hamstring injury.

Jordan Crane, who played well during the autumn international period, returns to the side at No.8 and Matt Cornwell gets his fifth start of the season in the centres.

Crane is joined in the back row by Shane Jennings and Luke Abraham, with Leo Cullen captaining the side from lock, where he is partnered by Louis Deacon.

With Scott Bemand taking over from Harry Ellis at scrum-half, Frank Murphy wins a place on the bench alongside fellow Irishman Paul Burke, who has finally recovered from a rib injury sustained in the match with Saracens.
