Corry returns for captain's duty

After leading out England during the autumn internationals, Martin Corry returns to club duty to lead out Leicester Tigers in France tomorrow evening.

"The lads have done very well in the last few weeks and that makes it a competitive environment at the club," Corry said ahead of the trip to face Bourgoin in the Heineken Cup.

"I can't wait for this one. Bourgoin have an excellent pack, they dominate the set-piece in the French championship, but they have also got a bit of pace out wide and, in Salesi Finau, they have a centre who can crash it well too.

"They are a good side and we have got to make sure we play to the best of our ability on the day.

"Bourgoin have got a very, very good home record. We have to go out there and not be overawed by any of it. We have got to know that our best game will be good enough for us to win. We have to make sure everything we do is geared up to playing our best game."

Corry leads a team that has lost just four games in all competitions this season and said: "What we have got is massive confidence in the squad. Everybody is playing well. We said after the Munster match that the winner of this pool has to have a five-and-one record, and we have had our one. We know exactly where we are at. We know the importance of the game and what we have got to do."
