Tigers supporters have once again been praised for their welcoming attitude and friendly approach towards opposing sets of fans visiting Welford Road. This time, the acknowledgement comes from the Newport Gwent Dragons, who came to Leicester in late September.
Mark Podmore, chairman of the Official Newport Rugby Supporters Club sent the following message to all the Tigers fans who made their trip such a memorable occasion:

"On behalf of Newport Rugby Supporters Club, I would like to take the opportunity to thank your club and all associated with it for the outstanding welcome and hospitality shown to our supporters on our visit to Welford Road on September 30 2006.
"Our supporters thoroughly enjoyed their visit to your club, particularly those that spent the evening in the clubhouse, and we appreciate the welcome they were given."
