Saints name side for Saturday

Rugby League convert Stephen Myler makes his first start at fly-half for Northampton Saints in the EDF Energy Cup game against Leicester Tigers at Franklin's Gardens on Saturday. The goal-kicker is a member of the famous rugby league Myler family and played for Salford City Reds, Widnes and the St Helens Academy in that code before joining Saints.

Head coach Paul Grayson told the club website: "Stephen Myler has a chance to play at 10. He is a very exciting prospect and I am looking forward to watching him play.

"There will be no league points or cup qualification to play for on Saturday, but bragging rights are worth just as much."

Robbie Kydd moves to inside centre with Seamus Mallon at 13. In the pack, Mark Easter has moved to blindside with Daniel Browne at No.8 and Sam Harding back in the No.7 shirt.

Tigers have already qualified for the semi-finals and will learn their fate in the draw on Sunday afternoon, while Saints lost their opening game against Worcester before going down to defeat at Newport Gwent Dragons.

Saturday's game kicks off at 3pm and Saints report just 400 tickets remain unsold.
