Are you aged between 14 and 17 and serious about rugby? Well then Leicester Tigers have the ideal coaching course for you.

By joining forces with the British Army and Premier Rugby Ltd, Tigers are offering you a unique opportunity.   The club will be running a week-long residential course at Bassingbourn Army Barracks, near Royston in Hertfordshire, designed to make you a better player. Tigers legend and former head coach, Ian (Dosser) Smith and senior academy coach, Mike Penistone, will be heading the week long programme specifically designed to improve and develop each attending player to the maximum of their ability.

"This is the first time we have run such a camp focusing solely on the older age groups in junior rugby," says Scott Clarke, Tigers community rugby manager. "Already many of our Elite Player Development Centre lads are on board and they will have direct access every day to two of the best coaches ever to work for Tigers. Younger coaches that have made it to the top level with Tigers as players will also be in attendance, and we will be working alongside the British Army training team who have planned a week of exercises and fun events focusing on leadership and team building skills which will compliment the rugby work. It's a must do for any player that wants to progress, and although challenging, will prove to be a week never to be forgotten."

The cost for the week is just £275 including accommodation, food, all army activities, and of course the usual Leicester Tigers benefits such as rugby ball, t-shirt, membership and drinks bottle.
