International prop White makes his first appearance of the season, while Waldrom is restored to the team after appearing from the replacements’ bench at Wasps last Sunday.
James Grindal, Kieran Brookes, Ben Woods and Mickey Young are all involved in the matchday squad against their former club.
Tom Youngs is brought into the squad for the first time this season and prop Michael Holford is also among the replacements. Holford, 29, came through the Tigers Academy and made 54 senior appearances before moving on to London Wasps in 2007. He joins Tigers on loan from Nottingham in the absence of senior front-rowers Martin Castrogiovanni, Dan Cole and Marcos Ayerza.
Tigers are without Craig Newby, Jordan Crane, Geoff Parling and Mathew Tait due to injury.
