Youngs ready for Scotland clash

England take on Scotland in a massive Rugby World Cup clash this Saturday, and Ben Youngs for one cannot wait.

Victory for England in Auckland on Saturday would see Martin Johnson’s men qualify for the quarter-finals at the expense of Scotland while defeat by eight points or more could see them on the plane home.

Youngs, who made his England debut as a replacement against Scotland at Murrayfield in 2010, has already made a huge impact at the Rugby World Cup with tries in the wins over Argentina and Romania.

And the Leicester Tigers scrum-half says he couldn’t think of anything better than celebrating victory over Scotland.

“England against Scotland are the games you want to play in,” says Youngs. “We have so many experienced players out there it probably takes a little bit of the pressure off.

“We are familiar with the Scotland players, we know them well and had some tough games against them so hopefully we know what to expect. It’s a World Cup and we will throw everything at them.”

He added: “It’s England v Scotland. Of course they will enjoy knocking us out. They couldn’t think of anything better.

“As an Englishman, I couldn’t think of anything better than beating Scotland, to be honest with you,” Youngs told the RFU.com podcast.
