There is still time to join the Leicester Tigers Dynamite Club, which kicks off next week with the aim of changing young people's lives.

Tigers are recruiting for the Dynamite Club, a sports-driven education course aimed at 16 to 18-year-olds who are not in education, training or employment. The next intake starts on Tuesday.

"This is a great opportunity for young adults to join something positive and make a difference to their life," says Andy Harston, Tigers education and inclusion officer.

"We are looking to help anyone who needs a boost or a chance to change their life-path, using sports to generate interest, increase individual health and provide a career path for the future."

The Dynamite Club is an aspirational, high-profile programme delivered by Tigers and Gemeg Ltd, targeting young people not in education, employment or training made possible by the support of Connexions, TNT and the Wooden Spoon Children’s Charity.

Based at Tigers’ world-famous Welford Road stadium, each participant will be fitter, healthier and better prepared for further education or the workplace.

Participants gain qualifications including IRB Rugby Ready and NOCN Participation in Sport as well as Tigers Certificates in Health and Nutrition and Strength and Conditioning.

If you are aged from 16 to 19, not in work or education and are interested in taking part, more information is available from Andy Harston, Tigers’ education and inclusion officer, on 0844 856 1880.
