Welford Road will host the two unbeaten teams in Pool 4 of Europe's Heineken Cup when Leicester Tigers welcome Ulster Rugby on Saturday.

Tigers opened their campaign with a 28-12 win over Aironi in Italy, while Ulster came from behind to beat French high-fliers Clermont Auvergne 16-11 in Belfast, with former Leicester fly-half Ian Humphreys contributing all the points.

Now both sides put their unbeaten start on the line in a crucial encounter in front of a 20,000-plus crowd at Welford Road.

Kick-off at Welford Road on Saturday is at 6pm and tickets are available now.

“Ulster are a good side and this is a massive game for us,” said Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill after the opening weekend’s exchanges in Europe’s premier club competition.

“It was important for us to start with a win and we go into next weekend in a positive frame of mind.”

Tigers claimed tries from Tom Croft, Alesana Tuilagi and Niall Morris in Monza, plus 13 points from fly-half Toby Flood.

“Aironi made it difficult for us but a win is important because they are hard to come by away from home in this competition and there are some surprise results already in this season’s tournament,” said Cockerill.

“We had a few opportunities that we didn’t take but they defended very well and it became a bit stop-start in the second half.

“Aironi were very combative and very physical but I thought we managed that part of it pretty well.”

“We had yet another new centre pairing playing together for the first time and it is great experience for young guys like Sam Harrison and Andy Forsyth to play in this environment.”

Tickets for Tigers versus Ulster are available now. Phone the Tigers hotline on 0844 856 1880, call in at the ticket office at Welford Road (8.30am-5pm weekdays, until 8pm Wednesdays and from 9am on matchday). Or book online any time.

Match tickets are also now available from the Tigers Club Store in Market Street, Leicester.

Fixtures in the pool rounds of the Heineken Cup are included in Tigers season tickets.
