Tigers top qualifying Pool 4 in Europe's elite knockout competition with two wins out of two ahead of the home-and-away legs against a high-flying Clermont side who led the French Top 14 table in the opening stages of the season.
The Clermont squad includes five members of the France squad which reached the World Cup Final in New Zealand, while Tigers have welcomed back seven members of the England squad and overseas internationals including Alesana Tuilagi and Martin Castrogiovanni.
