Tigers first-team players joined young supporters and their families for the party of the year on Sunday.

Less than 24 hours after the final whistle had sounded on Saturday’s epic Aviva Premiership Rugby clash with Northampton Saints, the Tigers squad were back at Welford Road for the Junior Tigers Club Christmas Party.

They joined almost 400 young fans and their parents in Final Whistle in the Caterpillar Stand for fun, activities and a pantomime.

JTC members made Christmas cards, festive decorations and 2012 calendars, and there was a tiny tots area, face painting, food and music.

Tom Croft, Dan Cole and Julian Salvi rustled up drinks at the Crusha milkshake bar, Anthony Allen and Micky Youngs turned their hand to the Xbox and PlayStation tournaments while Geoff Parling enjoyed playing garden games such as giant Connect 4.

There was a demonstration by Lemon Jelly street dance before the day was rounded off by a visit from Santa Claus and the Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer pantomime in the Premiership Suite.

The Junior Tigers Club is supported by Crusha, the milkshake and desserts brand. It is free to all supporters aged under 16. Benefits include the chance to be a Tigers mascot and lead the team out at Welford Road, access to the JTC VIP area on matchdays and a weekly newsletter from our mascot Welford, plus exclusive pages on the Tigers club website, competitions and a JTC goody bag.
