QBE’s Rugby Pro competition closes on Tuesday, January 3.
QBE, the business insurance specialist, is committed to the development of rugby at grassroots level and QBE Rugby Pro gives amateur clubs the chance to hone their skills under the expert guidance of professionals.
Prizes will be awarded to innovative, forward thinking English clubs who demonstrate why they should be awarded a two hour session with Premiership Rugby players. The training sessions will be specially designed by Premiership Rugby coaches to assist in the development of winning clubs.
Last season, Tigers players led a training session with Market Bosworth Under-16s after the club won the QBE Rugby Pro competition. Matt Smith, Steve Mafi and Pete Bucknall were among the Tigers players to take the session.
Nominated clubs must be from outside Premiership Rugby and the RFU Championship and you have just two weeks remaining to nominate a club of your choice. Entries can be submitted via a short form at www.qberugby.com
The nominations will be judged by a panel including members of the media, Premiership Rugby and QBE. The winning clubs will be contacted in January 2012 and published at www.qberugby.com
