A place in the Aviva Premiership 'A' League semi-finals is at stake when Leicester Tigers Development XV host Leeds Carnegie at Welford Road on Monday (NOTE THIS IS NOW A 6pm KICK-OFF).

Tigers are chasing a third successive ‘A’ League title after back-to-back successes in the last two seasons and can qualify for this year’s semi-finals with victory over Northern Conference rivals Leeds.

Paul Burke’s side are third in the northern table but can jump into second place and earn an away semi-final against the Southern Conference winners.

“It’s a massively important game for us,” says Burke. “Getting through the group and reaching the semi-finals was our goal when we started off. If we can get to a semi-final then who knows?”

Tigers versus Leeds has been brought forward to a 6.00pm kick-off at Welford Road on Monday, January 16 due to the forecast of another cold night.
