Design programme cover for JTC Takeover Day

Figure image
Sunday, March 4 is 'Junior Tigers Club Takeover Day' at Welford Road but you can get involved NOW by designing the front cover of the matchday programme for that day.

For the match against Gloucester we’re giving our Junior Tigers the chance to take over behind the scenes, including:
• Matchday Announcer
• Junior Reporter
LTTV interviewer
• Poster & Splash Page Designer
• Programme Designer

We’re also going to draw the names of 50 Junior Tigers to join a lap of honour and parade the JTC flag, and there is a draw to choose a matchday mascot just half an hour before leading the players on to the pitch.

There are lots of ways to get involved, including some great competitions.

Our Week 1 competition was to produce a poster for the game and the winning entry came from Natalie Freestone. Her poster of Welford the mascot will be on display around the stadium this Saturday and on the club website next week.

This week’s competition is to be our programme designer.

We’re looking for a fun picture to go on the front of the matchday programme for the game against Gloucester. You can draw it, send a photo or create a design.

The winning image will be used on the programme cover and seen by thousands of supporters on matchday so we’re looking for something extra special, bursting with colour and Tigers imagery. And don’t forget to put your name on it too!

So be creative, be imaginative, and to enter you need to send your A4-sized programme cover design with your name, parent’s name a contact phone number and photo of yourself to
[email protected]

Or post your entry to Welford, Leicester Tigers, Aylestone Road, Leicester LE2 7TR.

Or come down to the Junior Tigers Club VIP Area this Saturday and submit your drawing – you can even draw it while you’re there ahead of Saturday’s match against Newcastle Falcons.

Competitions are open only to JTC members. Club membership is free and comes with some great goodies, including admission to the VIP area on Welford Road matchdays. Join now by clicking here.
