An icy blast is forecast to cover the country for the next few days with night-time temperatures predicted to get progressively colder as matchday approaches.
Tigers groundstaff have had frost sheets in place on the pitch all week and the Geofleece protection blankets are in place in front of the Holland & Barrett Stand.
The innovative MacLeod pitch covering system, which puts an inflated sheet over the pitch and is filled with warm air to protect against the freezing temperatures, has also been put in place by Sports and Stadia Services.
Saturday’s match is the last game in the pool stages of the LV= Cup with both sides still attempting to secure a place in the semi-finals.
