Leicester Tigers face a trip to The Recreation Ground to take on Bath Rugby in the semi-finals of the LV= Cup.

Tigers secured top spot in LV= Cup Pool 2 – and with it a place in the last four – with a 24-13 victory over Newcastle Falcons at a bitterly-cold Welford Road on Saturday afternoon.

And Tigers learned who they would play in the last four of the Anglo-Welsh competition on Sunday afternoon when Bath claimed a 31-3 bonus-point win over Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park.

It meant Bath finished top of Pool 1 and qualified for the semi-finals as the top ranked side, earning a home semi-final against Tigers, who were ranked fourth.

The sides will play each other at The Rec on the weekend of March 9/10/11.

The other semi-final on the same weekend will see Pool 4 winners Northampton Saints host Welsh region Scarlets, who topped Pool 3.

The LV= Cup final will be held at Worcester Warriors’ Sixways on Sunday, 18 March. Tickets are available now for just £10 with a 2-for-1 offer on the first 1,000 sold at 01905 454183 or www.warriors.co.uk
