A total of 44 teams pitted their wits against each other in the quiz night, which was held in Final Whistle in the Caterpillar Stand on Tuesday.
Rounds included Movie Pictionary, Celebrity Clues and musical intros performed by resident house band Rock Bottom as well as general knowledge.
Jordan Crane captained 'Team Crane' to victory, with the support of Tigers team-mates Anthony Allen, Sam Harrison, Rob Hawkins, George Skivington, Ed Slater, Matt Smith and Jeremy Staunton.
But it was the team captained by Suzanne Ralphson who went home with the Try Tuesdays Pub Quiz trophy, supplied by event sponsors Everards.
Suzanne, who was joined in her team by Caroline Hare, Samantha Ireson, Andrew Simpson, Pauline Woodward, Liz Goodman and her brother Richard Goodman, said: “It was a very entertaining night.
“The trophy is doing the rounds and has pride of place on Caroline’s mantelpiece. She gets it for a little while – it will be on tour!”
Other awards on the night included the best team name, which went to 'Martin Quiztrogiovanni', and the Try Tuesdays Half-time Competition, which was won by Simon Wilkins.
Crane took to Twitter afterwards, saying: “It was a great honour to win the @LeicesterTigers quiz.”
Hawkins added: “Honoured and overwhelmed to be crowned @LeicesterTigers pub quiz champions 2012.”
Supporter @Embemwalton tweeted: “Ha ha, had a good time @LeicesterTigers came 43rd and I'm still proud! Well done #teamcrane” @ODNeal added: “Happy with 8th in @LeicesterTigers pub quiz. @edslater @RobHawkins02 and @JordanCrane86 cheated like mad. No forward is THAT smart!” and @nats2312 said: “Can't believe Team Crane beat us in @LeicesterTigers pub quiz....lots of fun though! #laughaminute”
