Among the first to discover a bargain at the Welford Road store were Charlie Love, 8, and three-year-old Kenzie Freeman who are pictured with their items, while Mr Finch, of, Leicester picked up a European shirt for £1 from the store in Market Street.
If you visit the stores today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) keep your eyes peeled for the golden £1 stickers and you too could pick up a bargain.
