Hooker Harry Thacker and centre Javiah Pohe are in the starting line-up, while props Harry Rudkin and James Thraves, plus George Catchpole, are among the replacements.
Head coach John Fletcher said: “It’s our first international of the season and we are all looking forward to seeing them play. We struggled last season against a very big and powerful Under-17 French team so this game will be a good indication to the players how they have improved from last season.”
