Trio released back to Tigers by England

Toby Flood, Ben Youngs and Thomas Waldrom have been released by England and will return to Leicester Tigers ahead of this weekend's Aviva Premiership action.

Flood, Youngs and Waldrom will be available for selection for the game against Gloucester Rugby at Welford Road on Sunday (kick-off 1pm).

Dan Cole, Tom Croft, Geoff Parling and Manu Tuilagi will continue to train with England at Loughborough University on Thursday.

Gloucester will have winger Charlie Sharples available for the game after he was among the 18 players released by head coach Stuart Lancaster.

Lancaster said: “We are going to release 18 players to get some game time for their clubs on which should be a very competitive weekend. Our intention was to retain the starting 15 from Wales for training tomorrow but under IRB Regulation 9 Scarlets have requested Ben Morgan so he will be returning to play for them on Friday."
