Big day for Tigers this Sunday

Can Leicester Tigers and Gloucester Rugby top last season's 10-try thriller when they meet at Welford Road this Sunday (1pm). Join us to find out - tickets are available now.

A last-minute score gave the visitors an equal share of the points in a 41-41 draw last season –
the highest-scoring draw in Premiership Rugby history – and both teams approach Sunday's rematch in good form.

Tigers scored six times in a victory over Newcastle Falcons last Saturday while Gloucester beat long-time league leaders Harlequins.

Just four points and one lace in the table separate the two teams with six rounds remaining so the scene is set for a Welford Road classic.

Turnstiles, bars and food outlets are open from 11.00am.

Sunday is also the first-ever Junior Tigers Club Takeover Day and there is still time for a young supporter to lead the teams on to the pitch as the winner in our draw to find a matchday mascot.

JTC members will be joining us to take on some of the matchday’s key roles including announcer and Leicester Tigers TV announcer, and we’ll have a pre-match parade for 50 lucky members.

The Junior Tigers Club VIP area of Final Whistle is open and members can enjoy a free milkshake from the exclusive Crusha milkshake bar. Activities to keep young supporters entertained are free to all members and we’ll have a first-team player appearance during the afternoon too.

Membership is free and open to all supporters aged under 16. Sign up this weekend and enter the draw to find a mascot.

The Tigers matchday programme this Sunday features the views of young stars George Ford, Sam Harrison, Ed Slater and Anthony Allen on agreeing new contracts with Tigers, plus Geordan Murphy’s reflections on his historic 300th appearance for the club last weekend. We’ve got plenty of feedback from his fans too. George Chuter’s Inside Line returns and we’ve got four pages of Junior Tigers Club news and games too. You could even win a great prize with John Lewis. Pick up your copy around the stadium, price £3.

Tigers matchday buses, run in conjunction with Arriva, are in operation this Sunday – travelling from Market Harborough, Oakham and Nuneaton. Click here for more details and timetable.

Resident band Rock Bottom provide the live music in the Final Whistle after the game.

The Tigers ticket office is open until 5pm Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday and from 9am on matchday. Call in or phone the hotline on 0844 856 1880 to book your place and pick up your tickets from the collection point outside the Caterpillar Stand. You can also buy tickets from Club Store in Market Street, Leicester.
