Bury St Edmunds U10s and Melbourne U10s go head-to-head at Welford Road today in the final of the Prima Tiger Cup.

The teams will be cheered on by huge travelling support when they contest the showpiece final.

“Everyone is really looking forward to it,” said Melbourne coach Steve Rudd. “We will aim to keep doing what we have been doing through the season and, whatever the result, we’ll have a really good day.”

Bury coach Dave Mountford said: “The whole squad are massively excited about coming back to Welford Road for a third time. There’s excitement and nerves in equal measure.”

The Prima Tiger Cup is an under-10s contact tournament, supported by Loughborough-based Prima Solutions and is now in its 18th year. It began with a series of regional festivals in the autumn with more than 50 teams taking part.
