Leicester Tigers have announced they will be running another residential camp this summer as part of the club's Rugby Course programme.

Following the success of recent courses, Tigers will return to Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire from August 6-10.

A £2.9million Centre for Sport & Fitness is the focal point of the college's new Sports Village which will host the Rugby Course and accommodate the players. The facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness suite, 4G artificial turf pitch and outdoor grass pitches and sports hall.

"We have run two residential courses at Bishop Burton College, which have been huge successes and we are delighted to be returning again this year," said Matt Williams, Tigers senior rugby development officer.

"The week's course is an outstanding opportunity for young and ambitious rugby players aged under-13 to under-18 who have aspirations to develop their game.

"Tigers coaches run a full week's coaching focussed on improving skills, game understanding and strength and conditioning.

"Players can expect to be pushed hard and it will be a great opportunity to see what it would be like to spend a week as an elite rugby player."

The rest of this year's Tigers Rugby Course programme is taking shape, with four and five-day events spread across the Tigers region featuring top-class coaching and a hot meal each day.
