Leicester Tigers Rugby Courses return for the Easter holidays with camps at Spalding and Market Bosworth rugby clubs.

Tigers coaches kick off their Easter programme at Spalding RFC in Lincolnshire from April 2-5. The following week (April 10-13) they will be at Market Bosworth RFC in Leicestershire.

Tigers players are due to drop in to take part in a question and answer session, talk about life as a professional rugby player and to pass on their expert tips.

Sam Harrison, Julian Salvi and Matt Hampson visited the first Rugby Course of 2012, which was held at Oakham RFC during February half-term.

Harrison said: “It was a really good course and everyone was really keen for it.

“I watched some of the training and there was some really promising stuff. They were having a good time and learning a lot as well.”

Tigers courses, supported by energy efficiency specialists Mark Group, are for players aged nine to 16 taking part in contact rugby and have a new look for 2012.

They have been developed to run even closer to the Tigers Academy and youth rugby programme. The new structure aims to develop skills for match situations with a focus on the catch and pass, the tackle, the breakdown and support and evasion. The camp concludes with age group games.

Every player who attends a course will receive a free ticket to an allocated Tigers first-team game at Welford Road. They will also receive a Tigers Rugby Course T-shirt, rugby ball and drinks bottle, free membership to the Junior Tigers Club and the Crusha Cru as well as a hot lunch and drinks each day.
