Welford Road hosts the annual Varsity matches between the teams from De Montfort University and the University of Leicester this Wednesday.
Thousands of students will join rugby fans at the home of Leicester Tigers to watch the Varsity fixtures. Gates open at 6pm, with the women’s match at 6.30pm and the men’s encounter at 8pm.

The varsity fixtures have been held at Welford Road annually since 2002, with the women’s match added two years later.
University of Leicester have won the men’s crown for three of the last four seasons, while their women’s team have won in each of the last eight years.
Tickets are available from the Tigers ticket office at Welford Road or by phoning the ticket hotline 0844 856 1880. Tickets are £5 in advance or £7.50 on the night.
