All three have played an important part in the LV= Cup success and the run that has taken Tigers up to third place in the Aviva Premiership.
Agulla, the winner of the Goldsmiths Player of the Month for November, is nominated for a second time this season after another strong set of performances. The Argentina international played a key role in Sunday’s win, not least in preventing Northampton Saints backs Scott Armstrong and Paul Diggin scoring in the second half.
On that occasion, Agulla was ably supported by fellow nominee Mafi, who also scored Tigers’ first try in the final and was the Sky man-of-the-match.
Mafi, who has been operating in the back row in recent weeks, also dotted down in the Aviva Premiership win over Gloucester at Welford Road.
Ford again showed his composure by kicking 16 points for Tigers in the LV= Cup Final to follow his four penalties in the semi-final victory at The Recreation Ground.
The Tigers player of the month award is supported by Goldsmiths, the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK, who are also official East Stand sponsors and official timekeepers.
Billy Twelvetrees, Agulla, Ed Slater, Agulla, Alesana Tuilagi and Logoviii Mulipola are previous winners of the award this season.
