Tom Croft led the Forwards to victory over the Backs in Try Tuesday's Question of Sport Our Way at Welford Road.

Tigers supporters joined the two teams for a hotly-contested sporting quiz night hosted by hooker George Chuter, with the Forwards retaining the title they won last year.

Croft was joined by Ben Woods and Geoff Parling as they overcame the challenge of a Backs team consisting of Geordan Murphy, Billy Twelvetrees and Scott Hamilton.

“Woodsy was the top man,” said triumphant captain Croft. “He knows his sport – football, American sports, he knows them all.”

Tigers supporters Louise Brittan and Jonathan Leighton won the audience quiz and joined the players on stage for the last round of the Try Tuesdays event which ended in a 41-31 victory for the Forwards.

The final Try Tuesdays event of the season is the annual Supporters Awards Night on May 1 in the company of the whole Tigers squad. Tickets are available now from the Tigers ticket office and online.
