Tigers must be focused, says Parling

Geoff Parling says Leicester Tigers have to be at the top of their game when they take on Northampton Saints in Saturday's sold-out Aviva Premiership derby.

Both sides are chasing a place in the Aviva Premiership semi-finals, with Tigers going into the game third in the table and Saints just behind in fourth.

Tigers have won their last four games against Saints but have not been victorious at Franklin’s Gardens since 2006.

Parling said: “They are a quality team, they are playing at home and they are trying to cement a semi-final position so it is not going to be easy.

“Northampton is always a difficult game. We know we are going to have to be right at the top of our game.”

Tigers will showing the game live on the big screen in the Final Whistle at Welford Road. The Final Whistle will be open from 1pm, with kick-off at 2.15pm. Food and refreshments will be available. Entry is free.

Fans travelling to the game are urged to allow plenty of time for their journey as Saturday sees a rare fixture clash between Saints and Northampton Town FC.

For supporters without a ticket for Franklin’s Gardens and who cannot join us at Welford Road, the game will be broadcast live on ESPN Classic. This is available on Sky and Virgin Media on Sky channel 429 and Virgin Media channel 533. BBC Radio Leicester also have live commentary online and on DAB.
