Two of the winners in the Leicester Tigers Supporters' Annual Awards have been nominated for Goldsmiths Player of the Month.

Julian Salvi, who was voted Best Newcomer, and George Chuter, who won the Outstanding Service, at Tuesday's awards dinner are on the three-man shortlist along with prop Dan Cole.

Cole has been in excellent form for Tigers, both in the set-piece and in the loose. The Tigers scrum has been an important aspect of recent games and Cole has also impressed with his tackling, breakdown work and ball carrying.

Chuter, the highest appearance maker in Premiership history, is closing in on his 250th game in the competition. His set-piece play and his work around the pitch was a key feature of the wins away to Northampton Saints and Harlequins.

Salvi was nominated for a fourth time this season for the Goldsmiths Player of the Month after another series of consistent performances. The back rower impressed again with his work rate, tackle count and work on the floor.

The Tigers player of the month award is supported by Goldsmiths, the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK, who are also official East Stand sponsors and official timekeepers.
