Tigers secured their place at an eighth successive Premiership Final with a 24-15 victory over Saracens at a rocking Welford Road on Saturday.
Tickets for the final against Harlequins, who beat Northampton Saints in the other semi-final, went on sale to season ticket holders and members at 8.30am on Monday morning from the ticket office, online and on 0844 856 1880.
Supporters began arriving on Sunday evening and there were an estimated 200 people in the queue by the time the doors to the ticket office opened.
First in the queue was John Wildes, a season ticket holder in the Holland & Barrett Terrace, who began queuing at 11.45pm.
“The night wasn’t too bad. It was a bit cold with the wind but it’s been all right,” said John, who has been coming to Welford Road since 1979. “I get here early every year. It’s worth it to get the best tickets.”
Holland & Barrett Stand season ticket holder Michael Bush, who began queuing at 12.30am, said: “You are born a Tigers fan. I have been coming for 21 years – since I was five – and I don’t want to miss the Final.”
Kevin Sanford, of Leicester was another to arrive at 12.30am – eight hours before the ticket office opened.
“It was cold last night,” said Kevin, a season ticket holder in the Holland & Barrett Stand. “Of course it’s worth it if you support your team.”
The finalists have each received an allocation of 7,550 tickets for sale to supporters.
The tickets are priced £50 and £40 for adults and £10 for juniors. Tickets will be located in the East and West Stands at £50 and South Stand at £40.
Tickets are on sale to Tigers season ticket holders and members only from 8.30am today (Monday) with no limit on the number of tickets you can purchase, subject to availability.
General sale to all other supporters begins at 8.30am on Wednesday, subject to availability.

Tigers Travel Club are running supporters' coaches for the final. Ticket prices are £25 for season ticket holders and members, and £30 non-members. Please note that supporters travelling by coach will not be able to leave cars at Welford Road.
