Tigers Maul team look for a new player

The Leicester Tigers Maul team are on the hunt for a young player to join their summer roadshow tour.

The Maul’s biggest ever roadshow tour kicks off this Friday with the National Corporate Sevens at Welford Road before it heads to the Kenilworth Show on Saturday, Rutland Show on Sunday and the Melton Show on Monday.

It also takes in the Queen’s Jubilee Picnic at Burghley House (June 13), the Lincolnshire Show (June 20) and the Heckington Show (Jul 28) among other events.

Now the team are looking to recruit a new face to join them throughout the summer.

The role will suit an avid fan who also plays rugby. Coaching qualification would be an advantage but are not vital.

Candidates will be prepared to work flexible hours throughout June and some of July and will ideally live in Leicestershire.

The successful candidates will receive a daily rate of pay, transportation to and from each Maul event and food at each event. The role will require occasional stay away from home, in which case successful candidates will be booked into suitable accommodation with the rest of the Maul team.

The role is a great opportunity for a student looking for work or wanting valuable experience as part of a great team.

To be considered for the role email [email protected] with your name, age, the name of your rugby club, shirt size (for uniform purposes) and a CV with a referee contact.

The closing date for applications is midday on Wednesday, June 6.
