Tigers In The Park will return for the first Leicester Tigers home game of the new Aviva Premiership season.

The event promises a range of activities, games and entertainment for the whole family ahead of kick-off in the big match.

The fixture list is due to be announced on Wednesday afternoon, with the first home game on one of the opening weekends in September. See the Tigers website for all the details as soon as they are revealed.

Tigers plan to make the opening home game a special occasion for the whole community.

Chris Rose, Tigers head of brand development, said: "The first Tigers In The Park based in Nelson Mandela Park and on the approaches to the Caterpillar Stand was a great event last summer, with lots of live entertainment, family activities and the chance to make a day of the club’s opening home fixture of a new season.

"The city council were very supportive in getting the event up and running, and the feedback we had from supporters was very positive.”

Attractions last year included bouncy castle, inflatable run and rodeo rugby ball, Armed Forces demonstrations, live music and dance groups, plus stalls, food and a bar.
