Hundreds of promising young players are being put through their paces this week on Tigers courses at Diss, Lichfield and Stamford rugby clubs.
Tigers coaches will be holding a residential camp at Bishop Burton College next week as well as courses at Lutterworth and Kesteven rugby clubs and any player between nine and 16 playing contact rugby can attend.
And players on the camps have also done their bit for charity, raising more than £2,800 for the Matt Hampson Foundation through the sale of pin badges.
“It is fantastic to see the support for such a great cause,” said Matt Williams, Tigers senior rugby development officer. “It shows how the rugby family works together, even from the youngest age groups.
"We know what an inspirational figure Matt Hampson is and it is great to see the next generation of players showing their support."
Tigers Rugby Courses are supported by energy efficiency specialists Mark Group and are the only courses run by and endorsed by Leicester Tigers. The packed programme continues throughout the summer and you can click here for a full list of courses
The courses run closely to the Tigers Academy and youth rugby programme with a focus on the catch and pass, tackle, breakdown and support and evasion.
Players receive top-class coaching from former Tigers captain Ian 'Dosser' Smith, double Heineken Cup winner Glenn Gelderbloom and former Tigers hooker Troy Thacker.
And every player who attends will receive a free ticket to an allocated Tigers first-team game at Welford Road. They will also receive a Tigers Rugby Course T-shirt, rugby ball and drinks bottle, free membership to the Junior Tigers Club and the Crusha Cru as well as a hot lunch (with the exception of the camp at Solihull School) and drinks each day.
