The full Tigers Rugby Course programme features five-day rugby training for young players aged under-9 to under-16, but now Tag Rugby sessions have been added for the younger groups preparing for the new season.
Kesteven hosts Tag sessions on three mornings next week (Monday-Wednesday August 6-8) and Market Harborough provides the base the following week (Monday-Wednesday August 13-15). Places are still available.
Scott Clarke, Tigers community manager, said: "Tigers Rugby Courses are well supported throughout the region and there is an excellent standard of coaching provided. Players improve and develop their own rugby skills on the courses, ready to take into the new season.
“In response to requests from clubs and families we meet on the Tigers Rugby Courses we have developed a Tag rugby programme for this summer and this is also proving popular.
“Some of the players may have tried tag rugby at school or at their local club, and our sessions allow them to develop their skills or they can act as an introduction to the great game of rugby for anyone trying it for the first time.”
Tigers Rugby Courses are supported by energy efficiency specialists Mark Group and are the only courses run by and endorsed by Leicester Tigers.
