The cup is a 7s rugby festival for under-14s teams at grassroots clubs, now into its second year and taking place at the 12 Premiership Rugby clubs.
The festival gives valuable experience of the 7s format to youngsters, helping in their rugby development.
The winning team from each festival will be invited to attend next summer’s J.P. Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s Series Final, a prestigious tournament in which the Premiership Rugby clubs compete.
Our local 7s Cup event will be held at Oval Park, the Tigers training ground, with the finals on the Welford Road pitch after the pre-season fixture between Leicester Tigers and Nottingham on Saturday, August 25.
