Welford Road is the venue for Tigers Education’s new Summer Camp, which starts on Monday (August 13).
Summer Camp is for four to eight-year-old children and aims to help youngsters get healthier and more active.
Over the three-day camp, they will play tag rugby, experience new sports and make new friends, as well as take on classroom and practical activities.
Scott Clarke, Tigers community manager, said: "Summer Camp is designed and delivered by Tigers Education Staff to provide an exciting and challenging activity programme focused on promoting the importance of a healthy lifestyle, physical activity and to provide support for learning through a range of activities."
The three-day camp runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Wednesday. Summer camps are non-catered so all children will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks and drinks as appropriate. Camps incorporate classroom and practical elements and children are advised to pack sports kit, sun protection and a hat. Half-day sessions are available.
Tigers are also running an Extra Time Club, which allows parents to drop their children off earlier or pick them up later. The children, under supervision, will have the chance to play games and take part in additional activities.
