Matt Dawson, England scrum-half in the historic 2003 Rugby World Cup win in Australia and now a captain on TV’s Question of Sport, is the special guest at the Aviva Premiership fixture between nine-time champions Leicester Tigers and the defending champions Harlequins at Welford Road.
Dawson, well-versed in the special atmosphere of a Tigers matchday after many visits in the colours of Northampton and Wasps during his own playing career, will be sharing his memories of previous visits and his thoughts on the game of rugby in general ahead of kick-off at 5.30pm.
He will be talking to 1880 Club guests and appearing in a special question-and-answer session for matchday hospitality visitors in the Honours Suite as Tigers host Quins in a repeat of the 2012 Aviva Premiership Final.
