Welford Road opens its doors for the first time in 2012/13 for Saturday's final pre-season fixture against Nottingham.

Welcome the team back to home soil, and show your support for the newcomers in the squad, as Tigers put the finishing touches to preparations for the Aviva Premiership opener at London Welsh next weekend.

Admission to Saturday’s game is included in a Tigers season ticket.

Tickets for all other supporters are priced £12 adults, £5 juniors in all areas of the stadium and are available from the ticket office now.

The ticket collection point is located outside the Caterpillar Stand on matchdays.

The ticket office is open from 9am and tickets will remain on sale up to kick-off. There are no cash turnstiles.

You can also book tickets for any home game in the new season, as well as for the opening game away to London Welsh. Or you can guarantee your place with a Tigers season ticket – book yours at the ticket office on Saturday.

Turnstiles open at 1.00pm. Kick-off is at 3.00pm.

The Junior Tigers Club VIP area in the Final Whistle will be open in the build-up to kick-off and we’ll be picking some lucky young supporters to welcome the teams on to the pitch as part of the Kerrygold Guard of Honour.

Season ticket holders can collect their copy of the Official Review of the 2011/12 Season from Final Whistle before kick-off on Saturday.

Big-match team sheets will be distributed before kick-off.

The Tigers Club Store at Welford Road is open all day, with a full range of the new home and away kits and training wear in stock. Additional shop units are located in the Caterpillar Stand.

Matchday catering will also have a new look for the new season, with new products including Domino’s Pizza, Frank’s New York Street Dogs, burgers, southern fried chicken, pie and mash, and curries.

An Everards bar area has also been added to the Goldsmiths Stand and the speed bar at the Clubhouse End has increased in size to help reduce waiting times.

For Saturday’s return to Welford Road, Tigers will be joined by some very special guests at half-time with the arrival of the Paralympic Flame.

After the Tigers match action, Welford Road will host the final of the JP Morgan Premiership 7s Cup, contested by teams of under-14 players.

Note that kick-off on Saturday will be preceded by a Minute’s Silence in honour of the Nottingham player Mitchell Todd who died in a car accident last week. Please move to your places within the stadium in good time for 3.00pm.
