Leicester Tigers fans have started to arrive in Toulouse ahead of Sunday's Heineken Cup opener.

Tigers and the defending French champions have won six European titles between them and kick-off their Heineken Cup campaign in a mouth-watering clash at Le Stadium (kick-off 4pm local time).

An estimated 1,000 Tigers fans are expected to be in Toulouse for the game. Supporter coaches began their journey from Welford Road on Friday evening for night-time ferry crossings from Dover to Calais.

Many fans made the trip by air on flights from East Midlands, Birmingham, Gatwick and Heathrow airports into Toulouse, Carcassone and Limoges, among other French airports, with other supporters driving or taking the train.

Director of rugby Richard Cockerill has named his side for the game, and you can click here for the team news.

The weather forecast for Sunday’s game is for rain and temperatures of around 14C.

Keep in touch with Tigers all weekend on the club website, the Official Leicester Tigers Facebook pages and @LeicesterTigers on Twitter.

If you are part of the Tigers Family heading to France contribute to our coverage by email your photos to [email protected] and we’ll look to use them in our online galleries and the matchday programme for the Ospreys game on Sunday, October 21.
