Thomas Waldrom played for Tigers at Wasps on Sunday before returning to the national squad alongside clubmates Dan Cole, Geoff Parling, Tom Youngs, Toby Flood, Manu Tuilagi and Ben Youngs.
Flood was an early casualty in the defeat by South Africa on Saturday but England head coach Stuart Lancaster said last night: “Toby's toe has been re-examined and there is no bone broken, but we will need to see how it settles down over the next 24 hours.”
Anthony Allen, who was due to play for Tigers at Wasps but was a late withdrawal due to illness, is to remain with Leicester.
England have called up Tom Biggs (Bath), Freddie Burns (Gloucester) and Nick Wood (Gloucester) to the training squad. Biggs replaces Ugo Monye, who remains at Harlequins for treatment on a calf injury, Burns comes in to cover for Flood and Nick Wood is temporary cover for Alex Cobisiero (knee).
