Leicester Tigers legend Graham Rowntree has been named as one of the coaching team for the British & Irish Lions tour to Australia next summer.
Rowntree joined Tigers in 1988 and made 398 appearances as a prop for the club, including back-to-back Heineken Cup Finals, and collected 54 caps for England plus two Test appearances with the Lions before moving into coaching in 2007.

He makes his second successive Lions tour as a coach, joining Rob Howley and Andy Farrell in the management team led by head coach Warren Gatland.
Gatland said: “I am delighted with today’s appointments and confident that Rob, Graham, Andy and myself can come together quickly to face one of the hardest rugby challenges.
“We have no illusion as to the hard work required but we have spoken of the challenges and believe that as a coaching team we can provide the players with the support and environment needed for victory in Australia. We will also discuss over the coming weeks the requirement for any further technical assistance.”
